Jujube, also known as red dates. These little fruits have a sweet and crisp consistency similar to an apple. These have a thin, edible skin with a small seed in the middle. Jujube fruits can be eaten raw, cooked, or dried. And these can be eaten at any time during the ripening process. However, it is most commonly eaten when browned as that is when the flavor is at its prime.
